Interstitial template

According to “Better Ads Experience Program” starting on February 15, 2018, Google Chrome is blocking ads on websites that do not meet the requirements set by the Coalition for Better Ads (CBA). The current list of prohibited ads can be found on the CBA's website (https://www.betterads.org/standards/).

The Interstitial template is a full-page ad that interrupts sequential content, forcing exposure to the advertisement before visitors can continue on their content path. The Interstitial closes automatically after the defined number of seconds or can be closed manually by the user.

Global creative master: Tick off this box, should you wish to reuse this creative for another campaign. Please note: When you change a global creative master, all the creative slaves pointing to this creative are changed as well.

Name of creative: Enter a name for the creative, should you want to choose a specific name. Otherwise the system will select the filename per default as creative name.

Enter EmediateAd campaign id: To create an interstitial you have to create a separate content campaign holding only the creative (e.g. a flash-banner). This campaign should be booked with the corresponding run dates (or a longer period, as the creative will only be shown when called by the launch-campaign), a priority allowing constant access to the creative (e.g. exclusive 100%) and without a content unit. The launcher campaign should contain all the targeting you want to use for the Interstitial. Please note that you can first see the Interstitial when the campaign holding the creative is active.

or enter HTML URL: Enter the HTML URL here if you are using external material and not another EmediateAd campaign to hold the creative.

and backup gif URL: enter the gif URL here (only if you are using an HTML URL instead of an EmediateAd campaign).

and click URL: Enter the click URL here (only if you are using an HTML URL instead of an EmediateAd campaign). Click urls must always include http://. Background layer color: Enter the color by using the code (color number).

Interstitial width: Enter the width.

Interstitial height: Enter the height.

Border thickness: Enter a figure here, unless you wish to use the default.

Horizontal placement (%) (default is 50 = centered): Enter a percentage here, unless you wish to use the default.

Vertical placement (%) (default is 50 = centered): Enter a percentage here, unless you wish to use the default.

Title: Enter a title (not required).

Title background color (default is black): Enter the color by using the code (color number).

Title text color (default is white): Enter the color by using the code (color number).

Title font size (default is defined by page style): Enter the title font size, unless you wish to use the default.

Close text: The text to be clicked on for closing the Interstitial.

Seconds until automatic close (default is 10): Enter the number of seconds until the overlay will close automatically without any user action.

If you want to check how your campaign looks live, it is a good idea to use the IP Targeting for your launcher campaign. That way you can test your campaign live, without any one seeing it.
Interstitial Campaigns might not work properly when booked on Friendly Iframe Content Units. We therefore recommend that you use JavaScript Content units for Campaigns with Interstitial creatives.
